Aviation Writing :: King Air magazine cover on Dynamic Aviation
As a regular contributor to King Air magazine, I’m always looking for owners and operators of Beechcraft King Airs to pitch to the magazine’s editor. I was trolling Twitter early this year and came across some great photos posted by @AerialMosquito. The handle intrigued me so I did a little Googling to learn more about the company behind the handle – Dynamic Aviation. With one of the largest private fleets of Beechcraft King Airs (125 aircraft), I knew I wanted to tell this story. Thankfully they were on board and here is the story of how a family-owned business headquartered in Virginia came to own so many King Airs. (You’ll have to read the article to find out why @AerialMosquito is an appropriate handle!)
Side note: this ended up being one of the cooler cover photos I’ve been able to source for a cover. This shows a Dynamic Aviation King Air 200 flying a personnel transport mission over the destroyed “Buddhas of Bamiyan” in the Bamwam Valley of Afghanistan.
You can read the full article in the May issue of King Air magazine, published by Village Press. The publication’s audience includes owners of the more than 7,000 Beech King Air turboprop aircraft that have been delivered since 1964, as well as prospective owners.
