Subject: The best fashion items for travelers come with a wearable tale. I was asked to write two sections of this 5-part feature on fashion with a sense of place. I wrote about Rocketbuster Boots in El Paso, Texas, and provided original photography. I also wrote about Hatman Jack’s in Wichita, Kansas, and connected the editor with a photographer I knew had excellent images of the shop.
